Marguerite is a 6 bedroom house situated on Mustique, a small and beautiful island in the archipelago of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Villa

Designed and built by Swiss modernist architect Mischa Groh, the house is situated in the Endeavour Hills with spectacular 180 degree wraparound views. From the Eastern terrace you look out over Macaroni beach, the main terrace and pool face towards Bequia and St Vincent, while the Western terrace is the perfect place to sit with a six o’ clock drink in hand and watch the often spectacular sunsets.

The Island

Bought by Lord Glenconner, Colin Tennant, in 1958, Mustique is a small, private island fringed with palm trees and white sand beaches. The 92 private homes that make up the Mustique community are scattered around the island, each in its own beautiful setting. There is one hotel, the Cotton House, and Basils Bar, built over the water in the fishing village, remains the island’s gathering place for drinks, dancing and meeting friends.

No one remains alone for long in Mustique unless they wish to be so. Friendliness and community are its hallmarks and invitations to cocktails, beach lunches and dinners are frequent - and fun. Marguerite is a wonderful home for both relaxing and reading and for effortless entertaining. Alric, Marguerite’s butler, aided by Michael, Cheryl and Audrey, will transform wherever you have chosen to have dinner with an elegant table ready to do justice to Regina’s delicious menus.
